There are as many anger disorders as there are colors in a rainbow. This is because each person has different degrees of anger and plenty of ways in which to express them. A person who is said to have “anger issues” is somebody that is unable to control their feelings. Most of the time, these persons show extreme joy or extreme anger and are quick to feel both emotions.
Below we have a short list that briefly describes anger disorders that could be manifested by person we love. These obvious signs are meant to help us figure out whether our loved ones need our patience and support in the event they need professional intervention.
1. Infrequent Or Occasional Anger Outbursts
Individuals with this type of disorder often have episodes every so often. It can be as frequent as once in a day, a week or a month. These are regularly observed by people close to the sufferer that they can more or less predict whether a situation can ignite an outburst or not.
People that have this anger disorder often display harsh body movement to convey their anger. This is also often accompanied by harsh words, yelling, name calling and plenty of finger pointing. Verbal abuse from the sufferer can often lead to destructive results such as the loss of a romantic relationship or even getting fired from work.
2. Anger Suppression
This is the exact opposite of anger outbursts as the sufferer does not express their emotion. They hold their anger and keep it bottled up inside.
