Life is a gift of God to mankind and it is not at all worthless, but some people think of it as worthless. People who have such a way of thinking are generally suffering from many problems, which can be personal, social or financial. These are the people who are often the victims of substance abuse.

They think of substance abuse such as alcohol or drugs as their refuge, where they forget everything and are quite calm, but they are just destroying themselves. It will not fix any of their problems, but instead can give rise to a number of additional problems. Substance abuse is not an answer to problems related to anger.

If someone, who is indulging in substance abuse, is reading this article, I just want to say that you are destroying yourself and you are hurting people, who love you and care for you. You are the only one who can make decisions for yourself, not anybody else. If you had a problem with anything, which made you angry, then this does not mean that you should get yourself involved in another problem.

Face the problems, because strong people face their problems and fight them. That is the true meaning of anger management. If you carry on with your substance abuse, sooner or later, you will be caught by police or end up in the morgue. I just want to make you realize that you must stop destroying yourself. If you need help, go to an anger management therapist or read an anger management book, which can lead you to a better way of living.

You should be courageous enough to fight your problems and overcome them, rather than getting smothered by your problems. Anger management techniques can help. Realize that you are hanging with the wrong crowd who are ruining your life, because a true friend will never let you destroy yourself with substance abuse. Your real friend will be the one who will tell you that you can overcome your anger management issues and make you understand that you are wrong in getting involved in substance abuse and will give you the support to find the anger management help that you need.

So, first of all, recognize the problem, identify your true friends and avoid the people who encourage you to continue with your self-destructive habits. With all the support of your family and friends, seek medical help. You can break such habits by willpower alone, but sometimes-medical therapy is a necessity and cannot be postponed.

You are dealing with a serious anger problem, where you are condemning yourself and taking your anger out on yourself. You should also schedule an appointment with a good anger management therapist, who will tell you many anger management strategies and skills, and anger management tools, with which you can handle your emotions in a much better manner.

I just want to advise you that you should tackle your problems step-by-step and re-gain control of yourself and be an example for everybody, who continues to indulge in substance abuse. After gaining self-control, organize anger management group sessions and anger management classes, where you can tell others about your experiences of substance abuse and life after substance abuse and help them to break the habit, before the habit breaks them.
